  1. Yoga Talk

    1 Season

    Philosophy, Inspiration, & Beyond
Why do our hearts unfold, bodies feel strong, and minds get light when we practice? Because it is not about the exercise or pose. It is about what is happening energetically, emotionally, physically, and mentally in the process. Join me as we discuss some of the philosophy, history, and beyond. Grab a pen and paper as you may be inspired to write how you feel, where you are, and where you want to be.

  2. Restorative

    1 Season

What you will physically need is important; bolster, blocks, and blankets. Here are some of the benefits:
    Reduce anxiety and stress.
    Manage pain, physical and emotional.
    Better sleep.
    Easy to do.
    Great self-care.
The deep relaxed state you attain during restorative yoga allows you to physically release accumulated stress and anxiety in the form of tight muscles and a busy mind. You’ll leave the yoga session feeling calm and peaceful.

  3. Hatha Yoga

    1 Season

Hatha is the practice of physical postures. ‘Ha’ means sun and ‘tha’ means moon. It involves applying opposites to come to that place of balance; effort and ease, flexibility and rigidity, strength and softness. This style is done slower with intention on breath, body awareness, and observation of the mind. It helps build a strong and flexible body while creating balance on and off the mat.

  4. Meditation

    1 Season

1st thing to understand it is not about coming to a space of no thoughts. 2nd It is about taking time for yourself every day to observe. 3rd it is as important as brushing your teeth, taking a shower, putting food in your belly. JUST DO IT.

All meditations are Kundalini Yoga Meditations. I have fallen in love with these meditations because they are active – you may be asked to use your voice, move your arms or the breath, while meditating. What...

  5. Yin Yoga

    1 Season

It targets the connective tissue, joints of the body, and lengthening of muscles while offering an opportunity for meditation and contemplation. It is gentle yet intense, helping to release tension and to practice being present in the moment. Yin yoga is a beneficial complement to the more active styles of yoga. Open for all levels to practice. Remember 25% ease/surrender with 75% effort – I will direct you in the class.

  6. Yoga Nidra

    1 Season

Yoga nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation that isn't found in your average meditation practice. The stages of body scan and breath awareness alone can be practiced to calm the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health. Yoga nidra is done lying down. There is no wrong time or way to be done. Allow it to bring you to a state of peace and connectedness – relax into it.

  7. Kundalini Yoga

    1 Season

Kundalini Yoga is a magical science that uses sound, mantra, energy healing, exercises and meditations to release trauma from the energetic body, which surrounds the physical body. It is physically awakening, yet allows all the tension to drop off you as you enter into a very deep savasana (relaxation).

In each class we open with 'Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo'. This allows us to tune into the creative source within us and all those teachers before us....
